How to Unlock the Egg Incubator
Play & Earn Achievements
Achievements are awarded for reaching milestones across all areas of the game: harvesting crops, caring for pets, completing trades, and exploring the map. Track your progress on the in-game Achievement board.
Reach 67 Total Achievements
Once you have accumulated 67 achievements from any combination of categories, the Egg Incubator unlocks automatically. You will receive an in-game notification when this happens.
Place the Incubator
Open your inventory or build menu and place the Egg Incubator in your garden. Choose a spot that is easily accessible so you can refuel it quickly.
Add Fuel (Crops)
Fill the incubator with crops to power it. Higher-rarity crops provide more hatching speed. The incubator begins consuming fuel as soon as an egg is assigned to it.
Pro Tip: Focus on achievement categories that reward you for things you already do naturally (harvesting, trading). You will hit 67 faster than you expect.
How to Use the Egg Incubator
Assign an Egg
Open the Egg Incubator interface and place the egg you want to hatch. The incubator immediately begins counting down the hatch time at the boosted rate.
Monitor Fuel Level
The incubator displays its current fuel level. When fuel runs low, add more crops to keep it running. Running out of fuel pauses the hatch timer until more fuel is added.
Watch for Boost Events
Certain weather events and special items apply an additional multiplier on top of the incubator. Time your rarest eggs to hatch during active boost windows for maximum efficiency.
Collect the Hatchling
When the timer reaches zero the egg hatches and the pet is added to your collection. The incubator is then empty and ready for the next egg.
Optimal Strategies
Stockpile Legendary Crops
Before placing a high-rarity egg, stockpile enough Legendary or Mythical crops to keep the incubator fuelled for the entire hatch duration. Running out of fuel mid-hatch wastes time.
Hatch Rare Eggs During Events
Weather events and special in-game periods stack additional hatch-speed multipliers with the incubator. Save your Divine and Mythical eggs for these windows.
Overnight Hatching
Load the incubator with a generous fuel supply before bed. Offline operation means the egg keeps hatching while you sleep, maximising your time efficiency.
