St. Patrick's Day Event – Grow a Garden Rainbow & Luck Guide 2026
Event Overview
The St. Patrick's Day Event ran from March 14 to March 21, 2026, bringing Irish-themed decorations, a Leprechaun NPC, and a brand-new hourly mechanic called the Rainbow Event. The key gameplay hook is the Luck mutation – a special plant modifier that unlocks access to the gold pots and, ultimately, the rare Four-Leaf Clover crop.

Rainbow Event Mechanic
The Rainbow Event is the central mechanic of the St. Patrick's Day event. Understanding its timing and spawns is essential for farming Four-Leaf Clover seeds efficiently.
Trigger Conditions
- •Activates automatically every 60 minutes at the top of the hour (e.g. 1:00, 2:00, 3:00)
- •A large rainbow arcs across the sky as the visual and audio cue
- •Server clock determines timing – joining a fresh server resets the counter
What Happens During the Event
- •The Luck mutation is randomly applied to crops across all player gardens
- •3 gold pots spawn at fixed locations around the map
- •Each pot accepts 3 Luck-mutated fruits per submission
Gold Pot Spawn Locations
Three gold pots spawn on the map each Rainbow Event. Community members have identified general spawn zones near the river crossing, behind the main shop, and at the north field edge. Exact positions may vary per server.
Luck Mutation
The Luck mutation is a special event-only mutation introduced during the St. Patrick's Day event. Unlike standard multiplier mutations (Golden, Crystal, Disco), Luck does not directly change a crop's sell value. Instead it acts as a qualifier token – only Luck-mutated crops can be submitted to the gold pots for rewards.
How Luck Is Applied
- • Applied randomly to ready-to-harvest crops during a Rainbow Event
- • Crops must be fully grown at the moment the event fires
- • Stacking mutation-chance pets (Praying Mantis) may increase Luck application frequency
- • Luck-mutated crops display a green shimmer effect
Four-Leaf Clover
The Four-Leaf Clover is a Limited Transcendent crop exclusive to the St. Patrick's Day event. Its passive effects make it one of the most desirable event crops introduced in 2026. It does not sell for particularly high Sheckles on its own, but its passive bonuses apply globally to your garden and pets.
Passive Effects
Increases the probability of recovering eggs from your inventory after certain events
Boosts the weight stat of all equipped pets, improving their passive ability scaling
Slows the age progression of pets, keeping them active longer between feedings
How to Obtain
